Welcome to the 2 1/2 Days in Margate Community Festival!
We hope that you enjoy the events and the atmosphere. Margate is a unique place, rich in history, habitat, creative talent and visual splendour, however for the most part, these treasures escape the notice of people "driving through". This Festival showcases the Margate community and its people, and it is a great opportunity to explore what the area has to offer. Organising the festival has been an adventure for the Margate Community and we trust that you will catch the spirit of adventure as you explore the area. There is plenty to see and do for all ages, and of course great food and wine! In the program you will find the details of what is happening over the weekend, some juicy snippets about each of the events, and entry forms for the raffle and information about other competitions. Reading however, is no substitute for experience. So….
explore…………
experiment, and
enjoy the adventure!
